Stone Draggers, 2018

‘Stone Daggers’ is a 20 minute performance for four performers who grind stones simultaneously, the rhythm / movement of the body/ stones inform the choreography of the piece.
Commissioned by the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology the performance is inspired by their collection of papyrus, ostraca and other written material, many of which describe labour, craft people and every day human interaction.
Stone Draggers was first presented in April 2018 at Bloomsbury Theatre, London
